Support for health and fitness

As a member at Nuffield Health Fitness & Wellbeing Centres, your clients will get support with both their health and fitness. They’ll also get access to on-site personal trainers and physiotherapists, a wide range of group exercise classes, equipment to suit all fitness levels and, in most clubs, a pool.

Depending on their home club, they could also use other gyms around the country, so that they don't have to give up on their fitness, even when they're out of town.

Nuffield members also benefit from a Health MOT - a free in-depth, one hour health check carried out by one of their health mentors, for advice and goals tailored to your client.

Are your clients already an existing Nuffield Health Fitness and Wellbeing member?

If they’re already a member at one of the eligible gyms, they can switch their membership over to get the Vitality discount. A transfer fee will apply. They’ll need to transfer their gym membership by the 15th of any month and their new Vitality discount will be applied the following month.

Here are a few questions your clients may ask

Can my client work out at other Nuffield Health Fitness & Wellbeing centres?

Yes - as long as they’re not on a ‘Centre Only’ membership. In order to gain access to other centres they must use their home centre at least 50% of the time. Have a look at the Nuffield Health Centre Access Guide for more information.

How do my clients join?

Visit the Nuffield Health Fitness & Wellbeing Centres page on the Vitality Member Zone for details. They can also download a free day pass on the Nuffield Health Vitality membership page.

How long will my clients contract be?

The Vitality discount applies to one month contracts. This means they’ll be on a rolling month-by-month contract. They’ll need to give a full calendar month’s notice if they need to cancel their membership.

How many Vitality points can my clients earn for working out at Nuffield Health Fitness & Wellbeing centres?

Your clients can earn 5 points per visit to the gym. They can also earn a maximum of 8 Vitality points per day and 40 points per week for getting active. To get the maximum 8 daily activity points, they’ll need to track their exercise for that day using a compatible fitness device or mobile app.

Once they’ve purchased their plan when can my clients join the gym? 

Your clients will receive an email from us the day after they purchase a plan unless they have purchased on a Friday or Saturday in which case they'll receive the email on Monday. This email will contain a unique voucher code and step-by-step instructions. All existing members will have to show their Vitality membership number and proof of identity at their selected centre.

Applies to one month contracts at all centres. Members must be 18 years or over to benefit from the discounted Vitality membership. Your clients can only have one discounted gym membership with Vitality.

If your clients have a qualifying plan, they can choose between:
  • One discounted gym membership at either Nuffield Health, PureGym or Virgin Active, or
  • a Peloton Bike, Bike+ or Tread to earn cashback.
