Bluecrest assessments offer a great-value, comprehensive, full body MOT. It covers their heart, liver and kidney health, stroke risk and other general health indicators (including cholesterol, diabetes, protein and more). All assessments are with an experienced clinician in a private consulting room. They also include the added benefit of 24/7 access to a GP helpline for an entire year afterwards.

Up to 100% off Bluecrest's health assessments

Qualifying health and life members will get up to 100% off an annual in-person health assessment with Bluecrest, depending on their age and online health review results*. Every member will get 50% off as standard. Terms and conditions apply.

*Members aged 40 or over, with a Vitality Age Gap of five or more years are eligible for an Advanced health assessment at no cost to them. All other adult members on a plan can choose any of three Bluecrest health assessments at a discount of 50%.

Once your client has joined Vitality on an eligible plan, they'll be able to book a Bluecrest Health Assessment through the Vitality Member Zone.

Who are Bluecrest?

Bluecrest provides an affordable and convenient health assessment option without compromising on high quality and clinical robustness. Since they were established in 2012, they’ve undertaken over 560,000 health checks. 
 
Bluecrest uses a UKAS/CPA* accredited laboratory clinically accredited to ISO 15189. As part of its CPA status, the laboratory is required to undergo continual auditing to ensure clinical accuracy and quality. *CPA Clinical Pathology Accreditation
 
Bluecrest use a specialist Cardiology Laboratory for all cardiology work.  The team uses the latest telemedicine systems, which allows them to provide immediate referrals if any high-risk cardiac abnormalities are detected. What tests do the Bluecrest Health Assessments cover?

Bluecrest's Active assessment

With the Active assessment, your clients will receive over 50 key readings covering heart, liver, kidneys, stroke risk, blood clots right the way through to iron, calcium, cholesterol and glucose level - highlighting any risk areas before they become problematic. On top of the blood tests and body composition analysis, your clients will also receive an ECG check for atrial fibrillation.

Bluecrest's Core assessment

The Core assessment also provides your clients with a more detailed overview of their heart health and stroke risk, with the addition of a lung function check for Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) and a haematology profile (full blood count). People with COPD are at a higher risk of developing lung cancer, but a lung function test can help detect COPD before any symptoms become apparent. The haematology profile gives a greater insight into common blood disorders including anaemia, haemophilia, blood clots and blood cancers like leukaemia, lymphoma and myeloma.

Bluecrest's Advanced assessment

The Advanced assessment includes a comprehensive analysis of your client's heart, artery and blood health. With a focus on heart disease and stroke prevention, the package also includes an additional consultation where your client can discuss their personal results in detail with one of Bluecrest's experienced registered GPs.
 
All assessments also include an annual GP helpline available 24/7 to give your client added peace of mind after their assessment.

Where can my clients get a Bluecrest Health Assessment?

Bluecrest uses the very latest mobile health assessment equipment at their network of over 2,000 hotel conference centres across the UK and Ireland. The venues have been chosen based on their convenient locations, comfortable surroundings, accessibility, parking and transport links. All venues are regularly quality checked by Bluecrest’s Events team and Assessment Specialists to ensure they meet their high standards. They only use high quality, private assessment rooms. And since they don’t have the same overheads associated with running their own private hospital, they’re able to pass their savings on to your clients by offering affordable health checks which are medically robust.

How does my client book a Bluecrest Health Assessment?

Once your client has joined Vitality on an eligible health insurance, life insurance or Vitality at Work plan, they can simply log into Member Zone online and book from the dedicated Bluecrest partner page.

How does my client know if they're eligible for a Bluecrest Health Assessment with a higher discount?

If they’re aged 40 or over and the difference between their Vitality Age and their actual age is 5 years or more, they can get 100% off an Advanced Bluecrest Health assessment.

How long does a Bluecrest Health Assessment take?

Depending on the tests or assessment that your client has chosen, their appointment will take anywhere from 30 to 40 minutes.

How does my client receive their Bluecrest Health Assessment results?

They’ll receive a minimum 16-page Personal Health Report in the post, which breaks down their results into over 50 readings. What’s more, each section contains a traffic light rating, so they’ll quickly be able to understand areas that need attention. 

Results will also be available online in their secure Bluecrest Assessment Hub, approximately 8 days after their assessment.

Important Information.


Your client must be 18 years or older.

If your client is pregnant, or up to 3 months post-partum, Bluecrest will not accept them for a health assessment.

Each eligible member is allowed one discounted Bluecrest Health Assessment every 12 months.

If your client has multiple plans with Vitality, they are only allowed to book one discounted Bluecrest Health Assessment every 12 months.

Members with Vitality at Work are eligible for a Bluecrest Health Assessment.

Members with a Vitality Essentials plan are not eligible for a Bluecrest health Assessment.
