Eating well is a key ingredient in being healthy. To help make it easier and more rewarding to take the good food option, we'll reward your clients with cashback on healthy food.

When your clients join Vitality on an eligible plan, they could get up to 25% cashback on selected Waitrose & Partners Good Health products (excluding beverages) when they get active.

If they get a second eligible health or life insurance plan, your clients can receive a Vitality Pink boost, with up to 40% cashback.

How activity points turn into cashback

We’ll give your clients between 10% and 40% cashback, depending on their activity levels each month and the number of plans they hold with Vitality.

Vitality encourages your clients to lead a healthier lifestyle and rewards them for doing so.

When they buy an eligible health or life insurance plan from Vitality and track their activity on the Vitality Member app, they can earn Vitality activity points.

The more activity points they earn, the better their cashback rate with Waitrose & Partners on selected Good Health products.

Your clients will be able to earn cashback on up to £100 of healthy food spend a month, or £200 for joint plans or family plans when shopping online or in-store.

What is a Good Health product?

Waitrose & Partners guarantee that every product carrying the Good Health label provides a clear nutritional benefit, helping your clients to get the vitamins, minerals and healthier fats that are important as part of a balanced, healthy diet.

Good Health products must also meet strict criteria based on current government guidelines for fat, saturated fat, added sugar and salt – so they won’t see any red traffic lights, aside from where the fats and sugars are naturally occurring, such as in nuts or dried fruit.

Do my clients need to have a Waitrose & Partners account set up?

Yes, to receive the cashback reward they’ll need to sign up for a myWaitrose account and let us know their myWaitrose membership number, so we can link it to their Vitality account.

Do Waitrose & Partners deliver to my clients area?

Waitrose & Partners offer a delivery service across England, Scotland and Wales. To find out if Waitrose & Partners can deliver to their area, visit their Branch Finder page.

Does the cashback apply to delivery charges?

There will be a small charge for picking, packing and delivering orders. This charge is already in place in selected Waitrose stores. The charge will be made clear on the delivery slot booking page and will be added automatically to your clients' total at the checkout once they have reserved a delivery slot. Find out more here. Click & Collect online orders of £40 or more will remain free.

Do my clients earn Vitality points for their healthy food shop?

They cannot earn Vitality points for buying healthy food at Waitrose & Partners.

Important information

Which Vitality plans are eligible for the Waitrose & Partners reward?

Your clients can sign up to the Waitrose & Partners reward in the Member Zone after they’ve joined Vitality on one of these eligible plans:

Up to 25% cashback, depending on activity levels 
  • Any personal health insurance plan with a minimum monthly premium of £38 or more
  • Any business health insurance plan excluding Vitality at Work
  • Any corporate health insurance plan or Healthcare Trust with Vitality Plus
  • Any life insurance plan with Vitality Plus benefits. In addition, the total premiums of all life plans on which your client is a member must be at least £45 per month, excluding any fee paid for Vitality Plus.
Up to 40% cashback, depending on activity levels
  • Any health insurance plan eligible as above
  • Any life insurance plan with Vitality Plus benefits. In addition, the total premiums of all life plans on which your client is a member must be at least £45 per month, excluding any fee paid for Vitality Plus.
Which Good Health products get Vitality cashback?

The Vitality cashback reward is available on all food products in the Waitrose & Partners Good Health range.

All drinks in the Good Health range, with the exception of milk and milk substitutes, are excluded.
