Whether your client is walking or running, they could earn 8 activity points for participating, or 5 Vitality points for volunteering at a parkrun event.

Your clients can boost their points with parkrun
parkrun organises free, weekly 5km timed runs. These events take place in parkland across the UK and includes runners or all ages and abilities.
For some extra incentive, we'll reward your clients 8 activity points for participating in a parkrun. Or 5 Vitality points for volunteering at the event - that could mean up to 400 Vitality points per year.

How can my client join?
It's pretty simple, they can get started in a few short steps
Find a local parkrun
There are parkruns all over the country - and new runs popping up on a regular basis
Register online
Your client can register on the parkrun website. They'll need their Vitality membership number on hand
Link accounts
The link in your client's confirmation email will connect their parkrun profile to their Vitality account
Get involved
Now your client can start earning points. They'll need to bring their personal barcode to every event they take part in
Day-to-day activities can earn points
Your clients don't have to be elite athletes or run a marathon to earn Vitality points. Day-to-day activities can help your clients on their journey, like:
- Walking the dog
- Doing the school run
- Or even doing the gardening can help
And, if your clients keep up to date with their health check-ups - like dentist appointments and eye tests - they can earn even more points.

If your clients are eligible for Active Rewards, Vitality points earned for volunteering at parkrun events only count towards the Apple Watch, they do not count towards Caffè Nero or Cinema rewards. Vitality points earned by taking part in the parkrun do not count towards all Active Rewards and appear as Get Active points on your Vitality points statement.
