VitalityHealth’s Priority Physio gives your clients access to over 4,000 accredited and peer reviewed practitioners in 2,000 locations across the UK. 

Our physiotherapists take a holistic approach to guide your clients back to health, by assessing their individual situation, and providing personalised treatment, such as specific exercises to help relieve their daily pain and discomfort, and advice on how to avoid injuries recurring.

Access in three simple steps

1. Call VitalityHealth, login to the Vitality GP app or go online to authorise physiotherapy treatment. 
2. Members are fast tracked through to the Priority Physio Panel for a telephone triage service. 
3. The triage ensures that members are directed down the most clinically appropriate care pathway.

Frequently asked questions

Can my client contact the panel directly?

We’ll take care of that for your client, by arranging a phone assessment with an adviser from our physiotherapy panel - whether they submit a claim online, over the phone or via a Vitality GP. Our panel will then manage your client’s claim and keep us up to date, so they don’t have to.

Can my clients ask for a specific physiotherapist or clinic?

Yes. If they speak to an adviser from our panel, and they recommend face-to-face treatment, your client can let them know they have a specific physiotherapist or clinic in mind. They’ll be able to confirm if the physiotherapist or clinic are part of our network.

Do my clients have to use a physiotherapist from the network?

No, if your client decides to use a physiotherapist outside the network, we’ll cover up to £35 per session as long as the physiotherapist is recognised by us. Your client will need to pay any invoices directly, submit them to us and we’ll reimburse them from their Out-patient Cover limit.

If your client needs further sessions after their initial number of authorised sessions, they must get a detailed medical report from their treating physiotherapist, so that we can assess if any more sessions are eligible under their plan. Without this, we may not pay for any more.

How is your network made-up?

We work with Ascenti and IPRS Health. They’re two of the largest managed networks of treatment clinics nationwide, with 2,000 practices geographically spread across the UK, to make sure your client gets convenient, quick access to treatment.

How quickly can my clients access care?

Whether your client is referred by a Vitality GP, submits a claim online or over the phone, our panel will receive your client’s details as soon as their claim’s been approved. They’ll usually contact your client the next working day or sooner.

Will my clients be offered a choice of physiotherapy clinics?

Yes, your clients will be able to choose the location that’s most convenient for them.
