In-season refers to items which are listed on the website, usually marked with a season indicator for the current season the product is sold in. For example, 'AW, HO, FA' means the Autumn/Winter season and 'SP, SS, SU' means the Spring/Summer season.

1. Subject to paragraph 3 below and eligibility criteria as determined by Vitality being met, during each Plan Year, each Eligible Member is entitled to receive the following discounts on items sold on the SportsShoes Website:
1. a 50% discount on a pair of In-Season running shoes (“In-Season Shoe Discount”), or a 15% discount on a pair of running shoes from the Outlet Store (“Outlet Store Discount”);
2. a 15% discount on all other full priced, In-Season items listed on the Website, including but not limited to, all shoes and other items in the “running” and “non-running” categories, but excludes items from the Outlet Store and electronics (“Further Discount”), each a ‘Discount’ and collectively the ‘Discounts’.
2. For the purposes of these terms and conditions
1. an ‘Eligible Member’ means any person who is listed as a person covered under a Plan with Vitality Plus.
2. ‘In-Season’ refers to those items which are listed on the Website, usually marked with a season indicator linked to the current season the item is sold under, for example, ‘AW, HO, FA’ means the Autumn/Winter season and ‘SP, SS, SU’ means the Spring/Summer season;
3. ‘Outlet Store’ means those items which are listed on the Website that are advertised at a discount with a minimum price reduction of approximately 30% to the regular retail price of those items;
4. ‘Plan’ means collectively a VitalityLife Plan or a VitalityHealth Plan;
5. ‘Plan Year’ means each 12-month period of any Plan;
6. “VitalityLife Plan” means a pure protection insurance contract or trust scheme administered by Vitality trading as VitalityLife;
7. “VitalityHealth Plan” means a general insurance contract for the provision of personal, business or corporate medical healthcare or trust schemes administered by Vitality trading as VitalityHealth;
8. “Vitality Plus” means the benefit called “Vitality Plus” which is included on all personal and business VitalityHealth Plans and can be added to corporate VitalityHealth plans and VitalityLife Plans for an additional fee;
9. “Vitality” means Vitality Corporate Services Limited and is registered in England and Wales with company number 05933141. The registered office address is 3 More London Riverside, London, SE1 2AQ, trading as VitalityHealth and VitalityLife;
10. “Website” means http://www.sportsshoes.com.
3. During each Plan Year, subject to eligibility requirements being met, each Eligible Member:
1. will be able to purchase one pair of running shoes using one of the In-Season Shoe Discount or the Outlet Store Discount. Eligible Members will not be entitled to use such discounts on more than one occasion or for multiple purchases; and
2. will be able to use the Further Discount on eligible items on unlimited occasions.
4. Where an Eligible Member is covered under more than one Plan, they are still subject to the eligibility restrictions in paragraph 3 above.
5. The Discounts can only be utilised by Eligible Members. Any re-sale or distribution of any items purchased using the Discounts by an Eligible Member to other persons is a breach of these terms and conditions. We reserve the right to take action consistent with our legal rights against any Eligible Member in the event of any suspected breach of this paragraph 5 or suspected dishonest or fraudulent behaviour by an Eligible Member.
6. To use the Discounts, each Eligible Member will need to create a SportsShoes ULTRA account on the Website and link this account to their Vitality membership using their Vitality membership number, which can be done on the Website.
7. If an Eligible Member covered under a Plan is under 18 during a Plan Year:
1. their Discounts will be allocated to the principal member listed on the Plan under which they are covered (where they are covered on multiple plans, Vitality will allocate the Discounts to one of the principal members at its discretion);
2. the principal member will be permitted to use the Discounts to purchase items for or on behalf of the Eligible Member who is under 18; and
3. at the commencement of the Plan Year immediately following that Eligible Member’s 18th birthday, the Discounts will be allocated to their own Vitality membership details subject to all eligibility criteria being met, and that Eligible Member will be able to use the Discounts from thereon subject to them complying with paragraph 6 above.
8. Any unused Discounts in one Plan Year will not carry over to the next Plan Year.
9. One Discount can be applied per transaction. For the avoidance of doubt this means one pair of running shoes can be purchased using the In-Season Shoe Discount or Outlet Store Discount in one transaction, and this Discount cannot be used in the same transaction as the Further Discount.
10. If you have multiple items in your basket at checkout, and SportsShoes determine that you could apply more than one of the Discounts to your transaction, SportsShoes will apply the Discount that would give you the greatest £ saving on that basket. If the Discount you wish to use is not applied by SportsShoes to your basket, you will need to separate out your items into multiple transactions.
11. The In-Season Shoe Discount and the Outlet Store Discount can be used on running shoes which are already advertised on the Website as ‘on sale’ but is not available in conjunction with any other offer.
12. The Further Discount cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer, promotion or sale items.
13. This offer is subject to SportsShoes own terms and conditions.

17. Insofar as permitted by law, Vitality and its agents will not, under any circumstances, be responsible or liable to compensate any Eligible Member or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury, or death occurring as a result of an Eligible Member’s use of the Discounts pursuant to these terms and conditions. The statutory rights of Eligible Members are not affected.
18. Vitality accepts no responsibility for Discounts loss or affected due to technical fault, technical malfunction, computer hardware or software failure, satellite, network or server failure of any kind.
19. Discounts are non-transferrable, non-exchangeable , cannot be redeemed for cash and no alternative offer is available.
20. Any decisions made by Vitality over eligibility or otherwise in relation to the Discounts are final and will not be open to dispute. Such decisions are made at Vitality’s sole discretion and no correspondence will be entered into.
21. Vitality reserves the right to substitute any of the Discounts with other discounts of a similar value.
22. Vitality reserves the right to refuse to award the Discounts to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.
23. All personal data of Eligible Members will be held and used by Vitality for the purpose of promoting this Discounts in accordance with Vitality’s privacy notice (which can be found on https://www.vitality.co.uk/privacy/ ) and data protection legislation.
